The Excursionmap.fi website contains geospatial information on fishing, hunting and outdoor destinations managed by Metsähallitus Parks & Wildlife, as well as hiking structures. On the website, users can view and print different map views of the destinations and measure distances. The map service can be used to plan trips, estimate travel times and check the boundaries of a hunting or fishing area or the location of a snowmobile route or track.

By clicking on a fishing, hunting or outdoor destination in Excursionmap, users can access further information via a link.

Excursionmap also shows municipal outdoor services in the same area as well as the locations of snowmobile routes and tracks.
